Winners of the SGGLA 2023

16i were delighted to present the award for Cultural Venue of the Year at the 2023 SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards (SGGLA), at an exclusive live event.
Technical Director at 16i, Mark Teece, was delighted to present the trophy to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, a magical 600 acre arboretum in the heart of Gloucestershire, who scooped the top prize.

The team from 16i were delighted to join headline sponsors, Visit Gloucestershire and Made in Gloucestershire, at the awards celebration event at Dunkertons Organic Cider on Thursday 29 June 2023. Winners of the 18 categories, sponsors and special guests were treated to drinks, loaded hot dogs and wood-fired pizzas at a showcase event compered by the BBC Points West presenter, Steve Knibbs.

The sixth annual SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards showcase the very best businesses and charities that represent the lifestyle sector in Gloucestershire. 191 businesses were shortlisted, voted for by 25,000 SoGlos readers throughout the public voting phase.
Managing Director of 16i, Alex Clough, said ‘We were elated to sponsor the SGGLA 2023 awards and delighted with the strength and depth of the entries for the Cultural Venue of the Year category. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winners and all the finalists, in yet another hotly contested category.’

Winners of SGGLA 2023 along with James and Michelle Fyrne, co-founders of SoGlos, enjoyed an evening of celebrations as they proudly displayed their awards in a group photo at the end of a very enjoyable evening.
